Kierman Jordan Forbes known as AKA  is also one of the top selling artist in South Africa who was involved with a group called ENTITY in 2002. I personally am a fan of his music and  him, the nigger produces dope music no lies. People reckon he is full of himself;too much ego but i am not about bowing down to people's opinions, this is all me, what i think and what i voice out ( freedom of speech). well the Entity group took different ways but AKA never stopped excelling in his work, he deserves an applaud for that.

Is AKA really Arrogant?

 Times Live beg to differ with all those who judge AKA without really sitting down with him. I sometimes question myself, why listen to his music when u've got beef with him? do we have a lot of Casper Nnyovest in this room! it better not, because their story is different. I am not about to judge either of them, maybe the whole gun pull thing was conduced by jealousy, I mean both artists are top and making a lot of money , people just have a lot to say about the two. The two both kept their records in 2014  by collecting awards, very  much impressive. Well my comment, you talk bad about the guy or u hating on him, its your problem, AKA worked his way up from 2002 when i was in Grade 2 and by then I didn't even know he exist hey. He was not served on the palm of his hand, he sweated three times  more than other artists.

 The 27 year old rap artist flew to Nigeria for the first time on Sunday for the launch of Nigeria's popular audio platform online for Pulse Radio Launch. we are now waiting for overseas tours.  i must say the artist does not only have the looks but has brains as well, the type of beauty with brains story haha. The artist also doesn't want to be compared to South African Rappers, this was clearly stated on Twitter " DO NOT COMPARE ME WITH SA RAPPERS EVER AGAIN" it takes a brave man to say that. 

Father to be

Lately headlines are updating us about DJ Zintle expecting AKA's baby. I am still stunned by that because the last time i heard about their relationship was when AKA told Noleen on Three Talk "we only friends"he said. why did he hibernate the poor Zintle though? Was he ashamed of her! I just never understand these celebrities who hides who they are. Did it take the baby for AKA to admit that they are in a relationship? I see he is out of the closet now.
                          

Traditional media vs digital

We are living in the world of " clicks". "cheap"is the favorite word for human kind, therefore traditional media is expensive compared to digital. people are to busy to go to markets and buy newspapers, magazines nor just to walk around and be handed flyers, pamphlets.  Digital media  ranges from text to video and sound, can be saved and shared electronically, utilizing everything from computers to mobile devices. This electronic dissemination of information has had a powerful impact on the way people communicate for personal reasons, school and even business.

Why digital media

An applause to digital media, organisations can disseminate information to the public faster than ever. Instead of printing inserts and waiting for the paper to announce their sales, companies now can let the universe know about a certain promotion through email , social networks, their websites or internet adverts. What an advantage for Public relations Practitioners. My heart lies with the Big Five (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Blogging and YouTube) , What a convenient way to communicate with stakeholders, cool huh? Practitioners are the encourages of digital advertising, almost all their work is done online, remember PR is the management through communication. Well, isn't bit convincing enough that Practitioners have won this game of digital advertising? Why? Because it doesn't take a minute to reach stakeholders through online advertising. There is nothing that interest me than the idea of how easy technology made the lives of marketers like Practitioners and people in general. Every time the "digital media" phrase appears I am reminded of the quote I abstracted from a vedeo i saw on YouTube " lookup by Gary Turk"...I find it very interesting, its like we are reminded of how technology spoiled us, yet informed how convenient it makes life

Greater Reach

Digital media gives the meaning to "organisations can reach more audiences more than ever before". A mere promotion along with a giveaway or a freebie can earn a business millions of Facebook fans and email and text message subscribers, just by by touch of a button. However, digital media also defines a two-way communication. consumers mention their preferences and their dislikes with the organisation through digital media, while Practitioners also sleep on the internet, just to find out what the audience really want. I couldn't be more happier to wake up in this digital age as a Public relations student. Isn't it so amazing how you could just sit on your couch the whole day and just let things come to you? The world is just a better place.
